Job Description

American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier paper converting and consumer packaging manufacturer in Woodland, WA to hire motivated, full-time Packaging & Production Workers. In this active production role, you will work directly alongside experienced machine operators, inspect finished paper goods for strict quality standards, box, pack, and stack products at and above shoulder height, and keep high-speed lines running efficiently. Description for Packaging & Production:
- Inspect finished paper and packaging products along designated high-speed converting lines to ensure zero defects.
- Support machine operators with line pacing, packaging material replenishment, and product changeovers.
- Accurately box, bundle, seal, and label finished paper goods according to customer specifications.
- Perform repetitive manual material handling, including lifting, palletizing, and stacking loaded cases at or above shoulder height.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation areas and packaging bays.
- Strictly adhere to facility safety guidelines, machinery guarding awareness, and PPE requirements.
- Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour.
- Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Saturday (Shifts vary based on production line scheduling; overtime opportunities available).
- Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
- Graveyard Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Location: Woodland, WA facility.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire career pathway.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent strictly required.
- Aptitude Testing: Must be able to successfully pass the company's pre-employment basic skills/aptitude assessment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to consistently lift and maneuver 30–50 lbs, stack boxes at or above shoulder height, and stand/walk for an entire 8-hour shift.
- Strong attention to visual detail, product quality, and counting accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment following operator leads.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation habits.
