Job Description
Are you a experience metal cutter? Have you worked with gas oxygen before?
American Workforce Group has partnered with a company that is located in the Longview WA, area that buys steel aluminum and copper from the surrounding areas.
If you are a motivated, qualified individual, we want you!
Description of Burner/ Torcher:
-Cut oversized pieces of scrap metal by using a gas oxygen torch.
-Maintain a safe work environment.
-Provide back up or assistance through out the yard as needed.
Details of Burner/Torcher:
-$18 to $20 an hour
-Day shift Monday - Friday
-7am to 4:00pm
-Full time
Requirements and Qualifications of Burner/ Torcher:
-1 year of previous experience with torch cutting in a production environment.
-1 year of forklift operating experience.
Physical Requirements of Burner/Torcher:
-Ability to lift 50lbs to 100 lbs. on occasion.
-Ability to stand stoop, bend, kneel and walk the entire shift.
-Bilingual ( Spanish) desired.
-Capability to withstand working in all weather conditions.
