American Workforce Group has partnered with a Local waterjet manufacturer located in Tumwater, WA!

Description for CNC LATHE MACHINIST :
• Program, setup and run Multi-Axis CNC Lathes to maintain high quality tight tolerance machined parts.
• Monitor multiple CNC machines in production.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's
• Provide feedback and suggestions to management for continuous improvement of the company.
Details for CNC LATHE MACHINIST:
- $28-$35HR DOE
- Monday-Friday, training on day- converting to swing shift after training.
-1PM-9:30PM
-Great Benefits after hire include- 100% Paid Medical insurance plan, Dental, Life, 401k match, Vacation, and Sick Leave.
Requirements for CNC LATHE MACHINIST:
• Must be methodical and can read and program NC code.
• Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Must be punctual, positive minded & work well with others.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership potential.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to work well in a highly motivated team environment.
• Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Prior experience in ISO-9001 and/or AS-9100 certification environments would be a plus.
• 2- years technical degree (or apprenticeship certificate) or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up and operating Multi-Axis CNC Lathes
• Experience with Swiss CNC Lathes
- Lift 50-75 lbs
- Stand, stoop, bend, pull
- Some background restrictions may apply
- Ability to pass drug test
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
