American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in the Tacoma, WA area to hire a full-time, dual-threat CNC Machinist. Description for CNC Machinist:
- Program, set up, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling centers.
- Set up and run CNC turning lathes (experience with live tooling is a strong plus).
- Masterfully interpret complex engineering blueprints, drawings, and strict GD&T standards.
- Independently select ideal tooling networks, calculate feeds/speeds, and design work-holding strategies.
- Conduct regular quality checks using mics and calipers to maintain flawless technical tolerances.
Details for CNC Machinist:
- Pay Range: $28.00 – $36.00 / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime options available).
- Location: Tacoma, WA area.
Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- Prior experience as a multi-axis CNC Machinist within an aerospace environment required.
- Proven ability to build toolpaths and machine programs cleanly from scratch.
- Hands-on comfort setting up and running both CNC mills and CNC lathes.
- Excellent personal attendance history and a strict commitment to industrial safety.
