CNC Programmer and Machinist

American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma, WA looking for a CNC Programmer and Machinist.
If you take pride in clean toolpaths and tight tolerances, we want to talk.
What you will do:
- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and Surfcam
- Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, live tooling experience helps
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding for different materials
Details:
- Pay: $28.00 to $40.00 per hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, overtime available
Requirements:
- Strong M and G code skills
- Mastercam or Surfcam programming experience
- Aerospace blueprint and GD&T experience
- Build programs from scratch, tooling and toolpath strategy
