Job Description
Do you enjoy providing warm, friendly customer service, staying active, and helping people manage their busy schedules? American Workforce Group has partnered with a busy, locally owned laundromat in Cowlitz County, WA to hire an outgoing, detail-oriented Laundry Attendant. In this active position, you will greet customers, handle wash/dry/fold services, operate cash registers, and keep the facility clean and organized. If you bring strong customer service skills, enjoy flexible short shifts, and have full night and weekend availability, let's get you on the team!
Description for Laundry Attendant:
- Warmly greet customers in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner upon arrival.
- Perform wash, dry, and fold laundry services efficiently and neatly for wash-and-fold clients.
- Accurately handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale register.
- Track inventory of laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and processing supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility by sanitizing machines, wiping tables, and sweeping floors.
- Build positive rapport with regular patrons to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour PLUS tips!
- Schedule: Monday – Sunday availability required (Featuring flexible 4–6 hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM).
- Schedule Requirement: NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS ARE MANDATORY AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.
- Location: Cowlitz County, WA facility.
- Position Type: Part-Time / Flexible scheduling options.
- Outgoing, friendly, and detail-oriented customer service personality.
- Physical stamina—ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand, stoop, bend, and pull regularly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/service environment.
- Solid cash handling and basic math skills.
- Background restrictions may apply; ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and flexible schedule availability.
- Competitive $17.50/hr base pay + tip potential!
- Flexible short-shift schedules (4–6 hours per shift).
