American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier contracting leader based out of Puyallup, WA to hire multiple full-time Construction Laborers. Description for Construction Laborer:
- Support different phases of general concrete construction, including forming, pouring, and flatwork finishing tasks.
- Execute manual yard labor duties including site prep, digging, staging materials, and debris cleanup.
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of commercial construction hand tools and power equipment.
- Travel flexibly to varying regional project sites throughout Olympia, Lacey, Port Orchard, and Bremerton.
- Maintain a highly organized work area, monitor material yields, and strictly follow core safety rules.
Details for Construction Laborer:
- Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour starting (Overtime required as needed).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Daily hours vary by job site needs).
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Construction Laborer:
- Prior experience in construction or general contracting preferred; carpentry or concrete background is a major plus.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately read a tape measure down to fractions and handle standard power tools safely.
- Sound basic math skills and high physical capability to stand, stoop, bend, pull, and lift 75 lbs+ regularly.
- A proactive, safety-minded work ethic and high situational awareness around moving machinery.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable daily vehicle to accommodate shifting site travel.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and accountability.
