Door Detail and Finishing
Job Description
American Workforce Group has partnered with a door manufacturing company in Cathlamet, WA looking for a door finisher.
If you're a motivated, qualified individual we want you!
Description for Door Finisher:
- Sand doors using hand sanders, orbital sanders, or other finishing tools to achieve smooth, uniform surfaces
- Inspect doors for imperfections, rough spots, dents, or defects and perform necessary corrections
- Detail edges, cutouts, panels, and grooves to ensure all surfaces are properly prepped for staining, painting, or sealing
- Remove debris, dust, and residue from surfaces between sanding stages
- Assist with minor repairs such as filling cracks, patching, or smoothing joints
- Ensure consistent quality standards and adherence to production specifications
- Work safely with finishing tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output goals
Details for JOB TITLE:
- Pay: $20.00/hr
- Schedule: M-F
- Shift Hours: 7am-3:30p
Requirements for Door Finisher:
- Previous experience in sanding, finishing, carpentry, woodworking, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to use hand and power sanding tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials for extended periods
