Job Description
Come pull up to your next career! American Workforce Group is in search of 3 solid forklift operators in Kent, WA for a long term position. Ideal candidate is looking to stay long term so the company can invest in them too!
Description of Forklift Operator:
-Sort, handle, load/unload freight using both equipment and manually
-Securly pack materials
-Utilize hand held mobile devices for shipment tracking
-Lift up to 50 lbs consistently with confidence
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Details of Forklift Operator:
-Monday-Friday
-$22/hr to start
-8-10 hour shifts (overtime)
-Must be able to train the first week of employment in Longview, WA
Requirements and Qualifications of Forklift Operator:
-Minimum of 1 year sit down forklift experience
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Basic verbal and written communication skills
-Minimum of 1 year experience working in an industrial setting
-Ability to use basic technology
Physical Requirements of Forklift Operator:
-Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs in product
-Able to stand, stoop, kneel and kneel
