Description for Forklift Operator:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize steel products and pipe up to 30 feet long.
• Load and unload flatbeds, curtain vans, and transport trucks efficiently with zero material damage.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, inventory control, and yard cleanup as assigned.
• Maintain high situational awareness near automated equipment and strictly follow core safety guidelines.
• Keep processing areas orderly, clear debris, and enforce a zero-shortcut safety mindset.

Details for Forklift Operator:

• Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour starting (Opportunity for wage increases based on performance).
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
• Location: Lakewood, WA layout.
• Position Type: Long-term, Temp-to-Hire.

Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Verifiable prior experience operating sit-down forklifts within an active warehouse or industrial setting.
• Proven ability to safely balance and transport extra-long materials (up to 30 feet in length).
• Must supply and wear steel-toe boots or shoes daily on the active warehouse floor.
• Strong safety awareness, stable work history, and excellent team work ethic.
• Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation.
