Description for Front End Mechanic:
- Perform front-end steering and suspension diagnostics, repairs, and full component replacements (ball joints, tie rods, control arms, shocks, and struts).
- Execute precise front-end safety inspections, steering repairs, and wheel alignments.
- Safely operate pneumatic equipment, hydraulic lifts, alignment racks, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized bay and collaborate efficiently with shop management and service writers.
- Handle customer vehicles with extreme care while upholding strict safety standards.
Details for Front End Mechanic:
- Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 / hour DOE (Overtime required).
- Schedule (Temp-to-Hire): Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM) AND Saturdays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
- Schedule (Post-Rollover): Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) AND Saturdays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
- Location: Longview, WA area.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Front End Mechanic:
- Must possess your own tools suitable for front-end automotive repair.
- Proven experience in front-end mechanical work (ball joints, tie rods, steering gear, suspension).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
- Ability to handle physical shop work (standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs).
- Must supply own closed-toe, non-slip footwear (Shop provides coveralls).
- Exceptional record of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and job reliability.
