Master the art of Hardscape—seeking an Interlocking Paver Specialist!
American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier, locally owned patio paver company in Tumwater, WA looking for a Skilled Hardscape Installer. This is a highly specialized role for a true craftsman—we are looking for candidates with specific, professional expertise in interlocking paving stones. Please note: this is a skilled trade position; general landscaping or basic labor experience will not be considered.
Description for Hardscape Installer:
- Expertly install interlocking paving stones for high-end patios, walkways, and driveways.
- Construct block retaining walls including precision excavation, site preparation, and material handling.
- Operate, maintain, and safely drive company work trucks and specialized equipment.
- Support the Foreman by ensuring strict adherence to structural procedures and company quality policies.
- Work efficiently and safely outdoors in all Pacific Northwest weather conditions.
Details for Hardscape Installer:
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary based on job site)
Requirements for Hardscape Installer:
- Direct experience with interlocking paving stone installation is REQUIRED.
- Proven background in structural hardscape construction and retaining walls.
- This is a highly specific trade role; general laborers or maintenance landscapers need not apply.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs consistently and perform physical tasks (stand, stoop, bend, pull).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, precision-oriented environment.
