Description for Harbor Operations Assistant:
- Basic equipment repair and maintenance skills
- Assists with repairs of malfunctioning equipment, gates, dockside utility systems, doors, lights, machinery, and plumbing system.
- Customer service skills
- Performing Audits
- Enforcing port rules and regulations
Details for Harbor Operations Assistant:
- $19-$24 DOE
- Full time
- Flexible schedule.
- Temporary position, lasting 5 months
Requirements for Harbor Operations Assistant:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Basic office equipment i.e. 10-key, multiple phone lines, fax machine, printer, copy machine
- Initiative, Analytical ability and creative problem solving
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50lbs
