American Workforce Group has partnered with a well-established metal manufacturing and fabrication facility in Kent, WA looking for a highly skilled Press Brake Operator. Description for Press Brake Operator:

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes for high-tolerance, custom metal parts.
• Calculate flat patterns, bend deductions, and bend allowances with precision.
• Select appropriate tooling based on material type, thickness, and geometry.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD-based design criteria.
• Collaborate with CAD and Sales teams to support manufacturability and project quoting.
• Measure and inspect parts using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling.
• Maintain strict quality standards within AS9100 requirements.

Details for Press Brake Operator:

• Pay: $28.00 – $35.00/hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Shift Hours: Swing Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Requirements for Press Brake Operator:

• 3+ years of CNC Press Brake experience is required.
• Proven experience in independent tooling selection.
• Ability to read and work from complex technical drawings.
• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes (certification preferred).
• Strong mathematical skills for calculating bend allowances and deductions.
