Job Description
Are you a CNC machinist? Are you looking for a great temp job for a couple months?
American Workforce Group has partnered with local company in the area looking for a temp CNC machinist for the next 3-6 months.
If you are a motivated, qualified individual, we want you!
Description of Machinist
- Studies blueprints, sketches, and specifications for making tools and dies, and specialty parts
- Sets up, operates, and tears down conventional, manual, or CNC machine tools
- Programs CNC lathe and milling machines (4 axes horizontal and vertical);
Details of Machinist
- $30.00 - $35.00
- Temp for 3-6 Months
Requirements and Qualifications of Machinist
- 3-5 years experience in math, blueprint reading, and metalworking required; CAD/CAM helpful but not required
- Certification in CNC Machine Operation or Machining Technology Preferred
- Experienced in operating milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools
Physical Requirements of Machinist
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Standing on feet al day
- Lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, raising, and lowering
