Description of Maintenance Technician
• Conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance on various types of industrial equipment such as Cut to Length and Slitting lines, bandsaws, wheelabrators, forklifts and various types of mobile equipment.
• Use equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifters, cranes, hand and power tools to move and maintain heavy machinery.
• Move, assemble, install, or dismantle machinery as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery and equipment.
• Work with a wide variety of precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators
• Ability to travel to our various branches to perform maintenance tasks.
Details of Maintenance Technician
- $25-28 DOE
- Monday - Friday 7 am to 5 pm
- Full time
- Temp to hire
Requirements and Qualifications Maintenance Technician
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related experience in a Millwright capacity.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, read and interpret technical documents, and operate moderately complex software or web-based programs.
• OSHA Forklift Operator Certification.
• Industrial electrical experience in a is a plus.
Physical Requirements of Laborer
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods.
• Acute hearing and strong field of vision.
• Ability to work in a demanding physical and industrial environment
