Job Description

Job Description Supervisor:
- Train to supervise a small production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Provide support in troubleshooting mechanical issues with equipment
- Participate in hands-on production activities as needed
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and team training
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations such as food production, scheduling, staffing, and inventory control
- Maintain and document operational standards to comply with food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and traceability protocols
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and SQF audit standards
- Supervise and train employees on manufacturing equipment, PPE, and safety regulation
- Communicate with other team members to monitor shipping, inventory, and eCommerce orders
- Analyze production metrics and prepare performance reports, identifying potential areas for improvement
- Optimize current production processes to minimize waste and improve efficiency
Job Details for Supervisor:
- Pay: $26-$35/hour DOE
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift Hours: 7am-330pm
Requirements for Supervisor:
- Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and pull throughout shift
- Capable of mixing, weighing, and handling food products with precious and consistency
- Familiarity with production workflows and standard operating procedures
- Mechanical aptitude or experience troubleshooting food manufacturing equipment preferred
- Prior experience with food safety standards or training is a plus
- Must have leadership or prior supervisory experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite especially with Microsoft Excel, cloud storage, and other common office applications
- Will need to complete and pass a math test
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Business Management, Operations Management, or other related field
