Material Handler/Forklift Driver

American Workforce Group has partnered with a leading manufacturer of essential paper products in Longview, WA looking for a highly skilled Fork Truck Operator. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision and safety are the top priorities. If you are a night owl with years of experience behind the wheel of a forklift, we want you on our team!
Description for Fork Truck Operator:
- Operate a forklift for approximately 70% of the shift to move large-scale paper rolls and finished products.
- Load and unload trailers with high accuracy and speed.
- Stage materials for production lines to ensure zero downtime.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned when not operating equipment.
- Experience with "Roll Grab" attachments is a significant plus.
Details for Fork Truck Operator:
- Pay: $18.00 – $19.50/hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift Hours: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Requirements for Fork Truck Operator:
- 2+ years of recent forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is REQUIRED.
- Roll clamp experience required to insure damage free roll handling with maximum efficiency
- Candidates must be "ready to go"—this facility does not provide training for basic operation.
- Proven track record of safety and efficiency in a high-volume warehouse.
- Ability to work a consistent graveyard shift.
