Description for Part-Time Administrator:

  • Serve as the operational hub of the organization, managing daily office workflows, vendor relations, and administrative support.
  • Oversee routine financial administrative tasks, including processing bill payments, staging deposits, tracking membership records, and assisting with budget management.
  • Provide leadership across human resources and facilities—supervising facility maintenance personnel, maintaining employee records, and managing venue scheduling.
  • Coordinate community communications, assisting with digital newsletter distribution, website updates, blogs, and member announcements.
  • Utilize modern office software, management databases, and video conferencing tools to keep operations organized and compliant.
  • Support organizational leadership, committees, and volunteers to foster an inclusive, collaborative community space.

Details for Part-Time Administrator:

  • Pay Rate: $30.00 – $33.00 / hour (Based strictly on Depth of Experience / DOE).
  • Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 30 hours per week across 3 to 4 days (Must hold flexibility to work Sundays as needed).
  • Location: South Sound / Thurston County region.
  • Position Type: Part-Time, Temp-to-Hire path offering long-term stability.

Requirements for Part-Time Administrator:

  • Proven background in office management, administrative leadership, or non-profit/faith-based administration.
  • Strong computer proficiency using Microsoft Office 365, database platforms, content management software, and virtual communication tools.
  • Functional foundation in basic bookkeeping, budgeting, human resources protocols, or office management routines.
  • Proven experience supervising staff and coordinating volunteer teams in a collaborative, respectful setting.
  • Professional, welcoming demeanor with an innate ability to communicate effectively with diverse community groups.
  • Must pass a standard criminal background check.
