American Workforce Group has partnered with a well known plastics company, looking to grow their expanding team! Are you looking to get your foot in the door to start your career? Do you want to grow with a well established company? If so, we have the job for you! American Workforce Group is looking for reliable and motivated employees to fill this position!
The role you play as a PRESS ASSISTANT:
- Maintain printing press, tools and equipment.
- Cleaning equipment and tools thoroughly and independently.
- Correctly assist in set up/running machine to expedite quality and run speed.
- Check for correct color, copy and sequence. Assist in roll changes and unwind/rewind rolls.
Details for PRESS ASSISTANT:
- $17.97/hr+, shift differentials
- Day shift: 6am to 2pm, Swing shift: 2pm to 10pm, or Graveyard shift: 10-6pm
Requirements for PRESS ASSISTANT:
- Lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
- Must be comfortable in an environment with strong smells and loud noises.
- Entry level, but must be able to read work orders and adequately use a tape measure.
