American Workforce Group has partnered with local small accounting firm to fill a Senior Accountant position in Olympia, WA!

Description of Senior Accountant:
-Work closely with business and individual clients to solve complex tax, accounting, and business problems
-Work with clients to prepare individual and company income tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms, identify, and deliver tax planning and tax projections
-Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state and local income tax returns and other business-related filings
Details of Senior Accountant:
-Full-time position
-Monday – Friday
-During the summer Monday – Thursday
-8am-5pm
-Pay $32-$40 / DOE
-Temp to hire
Requirements and Qualifications of Senior Accountant:
-Be able to prepare business and personal tax returns for individuals and business clients
-2 to 5 years experience in public accounting with a tax emphasis.
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and requisite hours to sit for CPA exam
-CPA or CPA candidate
-Must be “tech-savvy”, willing to learn, implement, and champion client facing and internal technology tools.
-Team attitude
Physical Requirements of Senior Accountant:
-Must pass pre-employment drug screen
-Stand for long periods of time
-Ability to lift 50 -75 lbs
