Description for Welder/Fitter:
- Capable of fitting and welding complex assemblies without supervision
- Able to read drawings and weld symbols
- Knowledgeable in the operations of company welding equipment, electrodes and wires
- Fabricate fixtures required to complete jobs in a timely manner
- Clean and grind own welds, burn, back scarf, preheat and post-cool as required
Details for Welder/Fitter
- Day Shift
- 7am-3:30pm
- $20 to $24 an hour DOE.
- Monday - Friday some Saturdays.
Requirements for Welder/Fitter
- Ability to fit parts using a fixture.
- Read and interpret welding symbols on shop prints
- Stand, stoop, bend, pull
- Some background restrictions may apply
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
- 1 year experience of hand rail welding experience.
Physical Requirements for Welder/Fitter
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to pass drug test
